Commercial Buildings

We at Timberworks Europe get involved in a variety of commercial buildings to include golf clubhouses, village and community halls, sports halls and offices. we can also build to any size. At present we are looking at a village hall which is single storey at 382 sq m. The building will incorporate a meeting/conference hall with a clear span of some 12 metres. This enables the building to be commercially viable. At the other end of the scale we have just taken a n order for a 90 sq m purpose built community building with offices.

Our Timber

90% of construction timber used in the UK is sourced from forests in northern Europe. Ours is no different, however, our timber is only sourced from certified (Forest Stewardship Council) forests which means that the timber source is both sustainable and managed properly.

Our timber is precision cut using laser technology which minimises timber wastage, transport and land fill issues.

Our Panel System

Our frame system is made entirely of timber or timber by-products - the insulation is made from wood fibres, a by product from FSC regulated forests.

The vapour barrier is paper based, so there is no plastic in the construction of the walls, thus allowing the walls to ‘breathe’ naturally which removes any moisture build-up.

Even the internal wall is made from 100% recycled materials (80% recycled gypsum, 20% recycled paper).

Our buildings either come with timbers pre-cut and packaged and numbered or in panels which have been pre-constructed in the factory. Either system ensures a speedy and flexible build.
