Cladding Options for Timber Buildings & Lodges

Wood products in general are manufactured using lower energy and emissions than man made products. Wood is a recyclable raw material that captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. All of our wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests.

Timberworks Europe Ltd. create a wide variety of sustainable timber buildings which meet full UK Building Regulations. In fact the energy efficiency of our buildings far exceeds building regulation requirements.

As the majority of our buildings are made from closed panels, including the floors, our buildings are suited to pile foundations and Jack pads. This minimizes disruption on site, is quick and is especially relevant when dealing with protected trees.

All of our timber is slow growing and durable. Our timber is traceable, holding a FSC Chain of Custody Certification. Our buildings can be specified to BREEAM standards.

We recognize that clients are looking for genuinely sustainable structures and to that end our insulation (Steico wood fibre insulation) is a recycled, sustainable wood fibre. Even our internal boarding is 100% recycled gypsum and paper.

All of our buildings are delivered in closed panels. This has a major effect on the build time of the project, reduced movements to site as the majority of the building is prefabricated off site. Also the factory build means that there is less waste on site thus reducing trips to landfill sites.

In essence we aim to minimize our carbon footprint and we use new technology wherever we can to reduce our imprint on the planet.
